Lea’s passion for wellness has strengthened for over 20 years since she was able to lose 50 pounds and heal her chronic conditions with food. This firsthand knowledge of the power of whole food nutrition motivates her to help patients create their own path to wellness.

She received her M.S. in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut and is a licensed nutritionist through the Minnesota Board of Dietetics and Nutrition. She is also nationally recognized as a certified nutrition specialist through the American College of Nutrition, an association composed of medical and research scientists to further nutrition research. Lea is also honored to serve as Vice Chair for the Board of Dietetics and Nutrition Practice for the state of Minnesota, a role she was appointed to twice by Governor Mark Dayton. She has been in the field of nutrition for over 13 years.
