Nikki was born and raised in Western Wisconsin, and has had a 20-year history in the healthcare field. She started in home healthcare and has experience in long-term care, as well as the hospital setting. She has always had a passion for direct patient care.
Her path to discovering Integrative and Functional medicine began with her husband’s 15-year complex, chronic illness. After exhausting all the resources offered by conventional Western medicine, they discovered the benefits of whole-person, root cause care to healing the body. Implementing this Integrative and Functional approach to medicine for her husband brought about rapid improvement and encouraged Nikki to start on her own health care journey.
Nikki loves spending time with her husband and four adult children. She enjoys outdoor activities including gardening, hunting and fishing at their cabin up North, camping, four wheeling and shooting trap. She also loves music, reading, cooking, growing her own food, as well as raising her own livestock.
